Car safety is no joke--you wouldn't let a toddler ride in a car with a seatbelt, right? You shouldn't let a dog either, which is why I recommend the Sleepypod Clickit Sport car harness. If you like to go hiking or camping with your dog, I cannot recommend the Ruffwear Palisades Pack enough!! Includes two removable water pouches, and the saddlebags detach from the harness if you don't need to carry anything. The Halti Headcollar has transformed our walks. I think it's always good to have a Thundershirt in the house if you have a nervous or reactive dog. The Wisdom Panel DNA Test was a fascinating tool to learn more about Chance's background (you can read all about that here). This Weatherbeeta Parka is GREAT for inclement weather--it's warm, and really easy to get on and off a squirmy dog, and the Pawz Weatherproof Booties are reusable and handy for both wet and scorching-hot-concrete conditions. And of course...I have my hand inside lavender-scented Earth-Rated poop bags on average three times a day, and I've yet to have one split open on me.
